Q: How often is the information reviewed and updated?
A: All clinical courses are reviewed and updated every six months. Significant revisions are done every two years.
Q: How does 1 on 1 tutoring work?
A: You get thirty minutes of tutoring as a benefit of every Nursing Prof course. Additional tutoring time can be purchased as needed. You will be working directly with Dr. Woodruff via phone or Zoom to discuss your needs and develop a plan for your success. You will leave the tutoring session with at least one actionable strategy.
Q: Who will answer my questions?
A: Dr. Woodruff and other Advanced-Practice nurses moderate the course. In addition to expert advice, you get the opportunity to collaborate with your peers via open discussion areas. Questions can also be emailed to Dr. Woodruff directly through the course for a more personal touch.
Q: Can I share the course with my friend if we are studying together?
A: You could, but your friend would not get the benefit of using the quizzes, coaching, or 1:1 tutoring. Instead, how about this. I would be glad to provide all your friends with 25% discount on their copies by calling us to order. All they must do is drop your name, and they get a discount on their copy. And because you were such a good friend, you will get an additional 30 minutes of tutoring or coaching for free for referring them!
Q: How long does it take to go thru the course?
A: This is a trick question. Although the program is approved for 6 hours of Professional Development credit, we encourage you not to rush through in a couple of days. Research shows that studying in small daily bursts is more effective than longer study sessions. I encourage you to take your time and apply the information as you are learning. It will make a lasting impression on your clinical care and increase your confidence!
Q: How are the videos offered on the paid program different from the ones available for free on YouTube?
The videos for the paid programs are not publicly available. The free YouTube content serves as a sample of the videos available on the paid program, which are more in-depth.
